Created a quick game with high score tracking for the intranet at work, high scores are obviously disabled at the moment and the game can just be played for kicks.. took 2 days to code in C# and silverlight.

Feel free to download for kicks , its not bad for 2 days, and of course i would have loved to add powerups and other objects to confuse the player but its still pretty fun

*requires silverlight plugin, like flash

I Havent Been posting stuff for a while,

So i thought i would upload a quick mockup of what i developed in about a week, just to test creating my own AI with skeletons, adding a weapon with effects, using hitboxes, raytracing for characters to walk on terrain, etc..

Using my own AI pathing etc so that i can have paths with unity free etc…

I think this version also might have the custom water shader i worked on in unity free aswell,

a quick menu, for respawning and quitting.

If i dont just post this, il probably keep forgetting, finished this about 2 months back, lol…

thinking of working on it some more, and fixing up the terrain more, and adding one or two things to actually make this close to a proper game, just for learning purposes and fun ofcourse.

Best run at highest revolution, or the diablo cutup i did of the health stuff wont show properly :) :) lol. cant expect too much for 1 weeks code :)

Learning Unity Game Engine

Trying out Unity 3D

Made my first environment trying to learn how to do this stuff, Its pretty powerful though, Im really enjoying developing in Unity…

It took me around 1 month to build this in C++ / DirectX 10 , with skydome / heightmap, moving grass in effect file, etc when i was learning DX10.

In Unity its taken me a few hours to throw together the same thing, I think im over reinventing the wheel with my own code (* I know the inner workings of how most of this stuff works however which is awesome and helps a lot wen using the tool, so My background coding experience in dx10 and c++ will probably come in handy).
